CBSE Patrachar Vidyalaya

CBSE PatracharVidyalaya prepares the students for Secondary (Class X) and Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XI and XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Examination, New Delhi , in all the three streams namely Humanities, Commerce and Science.

Subjects for class X

Subject of Studies

• Two Languages out of :Hindi, English,Punjabi.
• Mathematics
• Science and Technology
• Social Science

Additional Subjects

Students may offer any one of the following as an additional subject:

• Language other than the two compulsory languages (offered as subjects of study)
• Commerce, Painting, Music, Home Science or Introductory Information Technology.

Subjects for class XI & XII - (Arts & Commerce)

Any Two of the Following Languages

• Hindi (Elective) / Punjabi (Elective)
• English (Core) / Sanskrit (Core)

Humanities Group

Five subjects including two languages

• History
• Pol. Science
• Economics
• Sociology
• Home Science

Commerce Group

Five subjects including one languages

• Business Studies
• Accountancy
• Economics
• Home Science

Subjects for class XI & XII - (Science)

Any Two of the Following Languages

• Hindi (Elective) / Punjabi (Elective)
• English (Core) / Sanskrit (Core)

Science Group

Five subjects including one languages

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Biology
• Home Science

CBSE PatracharVidyalaya Eligibility Criteria

• Admission in class Xth
  • Those students (Male & Female) who have passed IX or class VIII (with one year gap) from Govt/Govt aided/Recognised School or failed in class Xth are eligible for class X Admission.

  or

  • Those students (Male & Female)who have studied upto class IXthprivately, can seek admission on the basis of Affidavit. Admission in class XIth Student must have passed matriculation / highschool / secondary school examination from a recognised board / university or any other equivalent examination.
• Admission in class XIIth
  • Those student (Male & Female) who have passed class XI or its equivalent examination from recognised school/ board after having passed class X examination from a Recognised Board / University. OR Those students (Male & Female) may seek admission directly to class Xllth having atleast one year gap after passing class Xth exam from recognised board or failed in class Xlth, on the basis of affadavit.

  or

  • Students who have failed in class Xllth or equivalent examination from a Recognised Board / University are eligible for admission to class XII.
